Lu Han continues his unique musical aesthetics, and, in this summer, brought us a new and surprising Remix EP "Re:Play" featuring four singles and four DJs with unique styles including Fabian Mazur, Machinedrum, TroyBoi and R3hab DJs. All this elements have entirely demonstrated Lu Han's music aesthetics and his pursuit of quality. The Creation of dance music exclusively for the summer brings a brand new sensory experience.
“Football Gang (Remix) [Feat. Fabian Mazur]”, the first single of the EP, was remixed by Fabian Mazur, the Danish EDM wizard and producer. He injected his personal style into the original version of Lu Han’s hit single “Reloaded”. Based on the passion of the original song, he added a bit of boldness and freedom from Northern Europe. As a super fan of football, Lu Han pays his tribute to the heroic players who are about to start the World Cup in virtue of this Remix single. This summer, let’s hear the crowd go.
The second single "Skin to Skin (Remix) [Feat. Machinedrum]" was created by the American producer Machinedrum, whose sounds of Wonky, Footwork and Future Bass had helped him carve out a niche in the American electronic music scene. He integrated various musical elements delicately into this remix. The different levels of sound sources interweave with Lu Han's ethereal vocals as well as the psychedelic breakbeat to bring the listeners through a dreamy territory.
"Lu (TroyBoi Remix)", the third single in Lu Han’s 2018 brand new remix EP "Re:Play", witnesses his collaboration with TroyBoi, who has set off a wave of trap on the banks of The River Thames. Lu Han’s way of singing here is different from his previous style, and it goes well with the British Trap beat adapted by TroyBoi. While maintaining the smooth flow of the original “Lu”, it is full of unique personality and adds more underground credibility. The massive bass, the appropriate conversion and the masculine atmosphere will drop you instantly in it, and drive you to have the track on loop.
"Catch me when I fall (Remix) [Feat.R3hab]" features the world-famous Dutch DJ / producer. Lu Han’s gentle, magnetic and cosy vocal along with R3hab's fluent but turbulent drop, further highlight the theme which is the sense of wandering and detachment as well as the intertwining of reality and virtuality. R3hab's consistent psychedelic feel makes the remix a nice surprise on this summer's among the EDM community. It is a brave endeavour by Lu Han and his mysterious chemistry, driven by R3hab's powerful style will leave people wanting re:playing it again and again.
The four DJs of “Re:Play” employed their unique music style to mix and match perfectly with Lu Han’s voice. Based on the four original singles of different styles, they produced four remix versions with more special flavors, giving new life to the original ones. While fully displaying the Lu-style, the EP also wonderfully showcased the personal characteristics of four DJs from all over the world. Stepping out of the safe zone, Lu Han dared to try more different music styles, boldly reconstructed the elements of summer football, water waves and hardcore streets, broke the fixed music style convention, and created the largest surprise in global EDM music scene this summer. Lu Han once again proved the infinite possibilities of Lu-style music.
